http://www.torchtheatre.co.uk/index.php?page=newsIn order to secure the booking of a major movie,
The Road will now show a week earlier than advertised.
The new dates are Friday 19 until Thursday 25 February at 7.45pm. The films detailed below are in addition to our advertised schedule and will not appear in our next Diary publication, so it may be a good idea to keep a note of the dates.
Mon 22 and Tues 23 February at 7.30pm
Wed 24 at 2.30pm Silver ScreenDid You Hear About The Morgans, Cert PG
Starring Hugh Grant, Sarah Jessica Parker, Elisabeth MossOut on a date to try and repair their failing marriage the Morgans witness a murder and so are whisked into a witness protection programme. They end up in a sleep! y Wyoming town where they have to play at being happily married and blend in with the local hicks. This does exactly what it says on the tin and squeezes a fair amount of comedy out of their situation, while Grant does his usual unfailingly polite, self-effacing Englishman number as he tries to win his wife back.
In a silly way, it is entertaining,The GuardianThursday 25 Feb 7.30pm The Cove, Cert 12A
Starring Richard O Barry, Hayden Panetierre, Louie PsihoyosWinner of the
Audience Award for Best Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival 2009 and
nominated for an Oscar for Best Documentary, this shocking, eye-opening expose plays out like an underwater thriller. Using hidden mikes and cameras in fake rocks, the film makers work like double agents planning a sting to bypass the high security and reveal how a small seaside village in Japan is the site of the horrifying secret slaughter of dolph! ins. This blends hard facts, cold scientific reason plus the t! ension a nd thrills of a Bond movie to terrific effect.
Restrained and harrowing, Sunday TimesIn the meantime there is plenty of movie entertainment for all ages this half term at the Torch, and we have almost finished planning the up and coming films for the next few weeks, so you can expect to receive another email from me in about a week or so. I can tell you at this stage though, that the major film I was talking about earlier will be Invictus starring Matt Damon and directed by Clint Eastwood, which starts on 26 February. Until then, enjoy your pancakes today and come and see us again soon.Regards

Life today has never been so fast moving and some would say stressful. A computer and Internet access alone designed to make life easier and indeed it does to a point. But it can also complicate your life, remembering passwords, firewall's,virus checker, spam emails, phising emails all add to every day stress. That is if the computer behaves itself and follows the commands you set it.
For all of you who agree the following will certainly bring a smile to your face if not a little envy.
